Lord Jamar: Drake Lost Points From Me Over Ghostwriting Claims

Lord Jamar shared his thoughts on recent claims that Drake uses a ghostwriter, and the Brand Nubian emcee admitted that he lowered the “Trophies” rapper on his GOAT list. He explained, “if you’re not writing all of your s***, I have to chop you down a little bit.” Earlier in the conversation Lord Jamar also explained that there are some people that are not bothered by the claims.

During the conversation Lord Jamar also brought up rumors that he heard about Dr. Dre having ghost producers on his albums, and he believes that it falls into a “hip-hop code of ethics” that would be deemed as dishonest. The East Coast spitter points out that it’s shocking to hear that any legendary hip-hop artist is not doing 100% of their work. Jamar says he would be shocked if claims came out about his favorite artists like Jay Z, Rakim, and Melly Mel.
